How We Can Help
If you struggle with finances, physical disabilities, or mental health issues – or have neighbors who do – we can help with the following.
Food Donations
Friends Of Ours will provide your family with a bag of groceries for a days meal.
Home/Lawn Maintenance
We can clean indoors and out, do small repairs, and offer information about long-term support.
Graffiti Removal
We can clean off graffiti for local businesses and homes.
Hauling / Moving
If you need help moving big items to the dump or to another house, we can assist.
Welfare checks
When temperatures dip below freezing, we check on unsheltered individuals or others brought by concerned neighbors.
Christmas donations
For families in need during the holidays, we’ll happily donate gifts for families to have a little holiday cheer.

Creating Community
Neighbors come in all shapes and sizes, and sometimes with a house or without one. We help ensure all our neighbors are getting what they need to feel at home.
Mediation
Interface between those who are housed and unhoused to try to remove friction and discomfort around parking and trash issues, finding solutions that help everyone feel heard and respected.
Advocacy
Meet with City council members, Metro Council members, Multnomah County council members, to advocate for our neighbors living on the street.
Supporting Local Services
Support Safe Rest Villages RV Parks and Tiny house project (Kenton Women Village, St John’s Village, etc), along with others that enter the neighborhood.
